In order to manage the Master / Student Programme of Clan Odan-Urr, several basic rules have been established.
A Student may be a member of Clan Odan-Urr, who has not yet reached the rank of Journeyman 4 (Knight, Professional, Captain).
A Master may be a member of Clan Odan-Urr, who has already reached the rank of Journeyman 4 (Knight, Professional, Captain) or higher.
Typically, one Master may have one Student at a time. Exceptions may be allowed for more Student, if they have been directly recruited by the Master.
No more than three Students at a time are allowed to have one Master at any circumstances.
Masters are obliged to help their Students by answering their questions, providing useful tips, sharing their knowledge, assigning tasks (in accordance to the Promotion Guidelines) and supporting their Students in any way allowed by the Dark Covenant.
Students are obliged to listen to their Masters, follow their instructions and carry out tasks given to them by their Masters.
If possible, Masters and Students will be paired based upon their fields of interests, unless specified otherwise.
A member directly recruited by another member is assigned to the recruiter as a Student, unless any of them expresses a different wish or the Master would exceed the number of three Students at a time.
Both Students and Masters are allowed to ask for a specific pairing, unless important circumstances do not allow such pairing to be established.
Both Students and Masters are allowed to resign from a specific pairing or te refuse to be paired with another member, in case they have a good reason for such decision (for instance – lack of time). Both Student and the both House and Clan Summits must be informed about such situation as soon as possible (in case of resignation from pairing – at least three days before the decision will be effective).
Master cannot directly answer questions from Shadow Academy courses, write a story for his Student and do anything else that would violate the Dark Covenant. Students are strictly forbidden to ask for such things. Violation of this rule will result in forwarding information about it to the Chamber of Justice.
Multi-unit pairings are allowed, especially if a Master or a Student transfers to another unit, while still undergoing training with his or her Master or Student.
Pairings will be dissolved, if a Master or a Student will transfer to Rogues.
